JMSpeedshop featured a friend’s 1986 Mercedes 190E (W201). The car is powered by a turbocharged 4.3 L M113 V8 featuring stock internals, gapped piston rings, water-to-air intercooler, and MaxxECU. Since there is no room in the engine bay, the Pulsar G40-1150 turbocharger is mounted in the rear. The motor is backed by a 711.670 six-speed manual transmission and E55 AMG rear differential. The motor runs on 25% ethanol and produces an estimated 500 hp (367 kW) and 600 Nm (442 lb-ft) of torque on 0.95 bar (13.7 psi). The current limit to power is the single fuel pump.
