This 1981 Toyota Pickup originally came with a 2.4 L 22R inline-four. It is now powered by 4.3 L 3UZ-FE V8 from a 2003 Lexus LS430 using custom mounts. Behind the motor is a W56-B five-speed manual transmission and rebuilt dual-range transfer case. Power is sent to rebuilt axles with V6 4Runner 3rd-member housings and open differentials with 4.88 ratios. The truck’s suspension is fitted with an Old Man Emu 2-inch lift, Bilstein 5100 shocks, high-steer kit, Old Man Emu steering stabilizer, Low Range Off Road adjustable rear shock mounts, and Trail Gear spring hangers. Braking is handled by ventilated front disc brakes and a Little Shop MFG rear disc brake conversion with an E-Stopp parking brake. Those are covered by Fifteen52 16-inch wheels mounted with Nitto Recon Grappler A/T 35×11.5-inch tires. View more photos and full specs in the Bring a Trailer listing
