HST Tuning attended the L8-Night drag racing event in Germany with their 2012 Audi A4 (B8). The sedan is no longer powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L TFSI inline-four. It has a turbocharged 3.6 L VR6 paired to an upgraded ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic transmission. HST built the motor with a cast block, girdle plate, forged internals, and Precision NextGen Sportsman 8385 turbocharger. The combo produces 1300 hp (956 kW) to the wheels on 2.5 bar (36.2 psi) of boost. In the trunk is a nitrous bottle to spool the turbocharger and provide 150+ hp when needed. The team had several successful runs until the engine block blew. Watch the passes in the video below.
