This 2001 Dodge Dakota Sport originally came from the factory with a 3.9 L Magnum V6 producing 175 hp (130 kW) and 225 lb-ft (305 Nm) of torque. The red truck is now powered by a 6.4 L Hemi V8 producing 504 hp (370 kW) and 508 lb-ft (688 Nm) of torque. The V8 features FRP forged rods and pistons, Hellcat-style oil pump, FRP Tomahawk camshaft, Hooker Blackheart longtube headers, and Terminator X Max ECU. Behind the motor is a Quicktime bellhousing surrounding a Ram twin-disc clutch connected to a T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission. A Precision Shaft Tech aluminum driveshaft sends torque to a 9.25-inch rear end with a 4.10 ratio and Detroit Truetrac limited-slip differential. The truck’s lowered suspension uses Belltech springs, Hotchkis sway bars, and CalTracs traction bars. On each corner are Forgestar CF5V 19-inch wheels wearing Falken Azenis AT560 295/35 tires.
