Lexus RC F with a Screaming Toyota V12

front-side view of Lexus RC F

Jaron Olivecrona and his Olivecrona Drift Motorsport Lexus RC F compete in D1NZ Drifting Championship Series. The car no longer has the factory 5.0 L 2UR-GSE V8. Instead the coupe is powered by a naturally aspirated Toyota 1GZ-FE V12 capable of 735 hp (540 kW). Hartley Engines built the motor with forged pistons, forged rods, custom exhaust manifolds, and individual throttle bodies. The car’s factory Aisin AA80E 8-speed transmission and drivetrain were swapped for a TTi 503 five-speed sequential transmission, carbon fiber driveshaft, and Winters quick-change rear end. Listen to the 1GZ V12 scream in the video below.
