TRS Racing received this Abarth 124 Spider for a performance upgrade. The car comes from the factory with a turbocharged 1.4 L FIRE MultiAir inline-four producing 168 hp (123 kW) and 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) of torque. TRS Racing is swapping the factory inline-four for a twin-turbo 2.9 L 690T V6 from an Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio. The transplanted motor produces 505 hp (371 kW) and 600 Nm (443 lb-ft) of torque. TRS Racing had to fabricate custom mounts, intercooler, and exhaust. The drivetrain will feature a manual transmission, modified driveshaft, and Giulia Quadrifoglio rear end with a limited-slip differential. TRS Racing plans to upgrade the front brakes and install a set of KW adjustable coilovers. You can follow the projects progress on the FB build album or on @trsracing_pl.
