Jon Rogers has transformed his 1998 Nissan 240SX into a monster. In 2025 Jon swapped from a Toyota 2JZ inline-six to a Nissan VK56 V8. Since then Jon has continued to push the motor. It now produces 2321 hp (1707 kW) to the wheels on 51 psi (3.5 bar) of boost and methanol fuel. The V8 still retains the factory block, sleeves, and crankshaft. Aftermarket parts include custom pistons, forged rods, dry sump, HeadGames Motorworks ported heads, Kelford camshafts, and GSC valvetrain. Boost is generated by a Garrett G-XRace GXR57-98 98.9 mm turbocharger. Jon previously used a Gforce GF5R five-speed H-pattern transmission but switched to a Liberty Gears Equalizer H-pattern transmission.
