This 1989 Volvo 240 wagon stopped by Diesel Pump UK (DPUK) for a dyno tune. The wagon is powered by a 3.0 L Mercedes OM606 inline-six and Mercedes six-speed manual transmission. The motor features several DPUK parts including their QuickSpool turbocharger kit, billet lift pump, and 7.7 mm injector pump. The engine also uses an OM648 rear sump oil pan and radiator relocated to the rear of the car. When the car first arrived it made 298 hp (219 kW) and 395 lb-ft (535 Nm) of torque. DPUK found several issues with the engine setup. After fixing the issues the motor made 382 hp (280 kW) and 500 lb-ft (677 Nm) of torque. DPUK then switched to another intercooler and made 400 hp (294 kW) and 517 lb-ft (700 Nm) of torque.
