Hodson Motors built this 1978 Ford F-250 for their sweepstakes. The truck is powered by a 5.9 L Cummins 6BT turbodiesel inline-six featuring P-pump mechanical fuel injection pump, 4,000 rpm governor spring, stock injectors, stock turbocharger, and custom 4-inch exhaust. Behind the motor is a Valair OEM+ organic single-disc clutch and ZF5 five-speed manual transmission. A NP205 transfer case sends power to Dana 60 axles with 4.10 ratios. The truck rides on stock leaf-springs, upgraded drag link, front disc brakes, and rear drum brakes. On the exterior features a two-tone paint with chrome bumpers, LED headlights, and a set of Mickey Thompson 17-inch wheels wearing Milestar Patagonia AT Pro 33-inch tires.
