Bisimoto Engineering converted this 1983 Porsche 911 Turbo to electric. In the back of the sports car is a liquid-cooled three-phase AC electric motor making 639 hp (469 kW). That power is transmitted to the rear tires through a single-speed transaxle with a limited-slip differential and 9.73 ratio. The car has a 120-mile range thanks to LG Chem 32-kWh battery packs. It weighs 3007 lb (1363 kg) with a 40/60 bias. The car’s suspension was built by Coachwerks Restoration in Victoria, BC, Canada. It uses a Von Street coilovers, Elephant Racing GT3 front suspension parts, 911 Turbo tie rods, and RSR-style sway bars. Coachwerks Restoration also installed a ducktail decklid, 9eleven LED headlights, and painted the body in Guards Red color. The car rides on Braid Fuchs-style 17-inch wheels wearing Nitto Motivo tires (255/40, 315/35). You can view more details and photos at Bring a Trailer.
