Britishv8.org published an article about a 1954 Austin-Healey owned by Martin Jansen. The car has a 5.3 L Jaguar V12 engine which is balanced and blueprinted. No reason to keep it naturally aspirated so a Vortec V2 supercharger was added. The drivetrain features a Tremec 3550 TKO five-speed transmission and Ford 9-inch rear end. The suspension was kept pretty much stock except for minor modifications to help with the powertrain. For more details please check the BritishV8 article.

I have a 4.0 supercharged 96 Jaguar inline six I’d like to put in a ’56 Austin Healey 100-4. I see you’ve been able to cram a V12 into the 100-4, Did you have to move the radiator? Is the engine bay in the four cylinder Austin healey the same length as the later Healeys?
Sounds good to me, I’d like to see the car finished. It’s the sort of car you can take to any hot rod, import or classic car show and it could go down a storm.
