This is not the first engine swap for the Toyota 86/Scion FR-S but it seems to be the first V8 we have come across. Manabu Orido is working on swapping the 2UR-GSE from a Lexus IS-F into a Toyota 86. The 5.0L V8 engine is factory rated at 417 horsepower and 373 ft-lbs of torque. Orido will be racing this in the upcoming 2012 D1GP season. Check out the source link below for the build gallery.
