Some people enjoy going with a popular engine choice while others enjoy something different. This 1971 Corvette being built by Richard Hayes falls under the latter. The Corvette originally came with a LS5 and four-speed but when the time came to swap it for something else, Richard went with a BMW M73 V12. The motor features Jenvey 40 mm individual throttle bodies and a Peterson 3-stage dry sump. Richard has done a great job of documenting the steps and issues he ran into. The project seems to be in the final stages and we are looking forward to seeing this cruising around.
