Ali Afshar’s 2013 BRZ race car has been powered by a lot of engines. It’s seen a 2.0 L flat-four (FA20), 2.4 L flat-four, 2.5 L flat-four (EJ25), and now a flat-six. The engine is a 3.3 L EG33 flat-six motor built by Tony Rigoli Performance out of Australia. The engine produces 1,400 horsepower and features Darton cylinder sleeves, CP pistons, Carrillo rods, Ferrea Racing valvetrain, and MoTeC M800 ECU.
