Louis Strianese converted his 2001 Ford Taurus to rear-wheel drive thanks to a lot of work and a full powertrain swap. He’s replaced the factory V6 and drivetrain with a 2.5 L 1JZ-GTE VVTi inline-six connected to a W58 five-speed manual transmission and Lexus LS400 differential. The suspension comprises of a custom tubular subframe with a Foxbody manual steering rack in front and Lexus LS400 subframe in back. Listen as Louis explains how he built the project.
