1959 Ford Prefect 100E Body on a MX-5 Chassis – Part 27

1959 Ford Prefect 100E on a MX-5 Chassis

Matt Urch from Urchfab is back with another update on his newest project. The goal is to create a drift machine using a 1959 Ford Prefect 100E shell over a 2002 Mazda MX-5 chassis with a 1.8 L inline-four, six-speed manual transmission, and limited-slip diff. In this video Matt dissembles the MX-5 front subframe and suspension parts.

  1. I glad you are showing the shitty part of your project. Too many people think it’s a walk down a brightly lit alleyway

Reality is trash cans, shadows, and broken glass… not to mention people selling you crap you don’t need

I see you wear protective gear all the time. Good! Have you been injured on this project?

Job well done and I look fed to your next post
