Hartley Enterprises developed the H1 V8 currently used in the DP1. The H1 weighs 200 lbs (90 kg) and features a 170 ci (2.78 L) displacement. The motor produces 400 hp (294 kW) at 10,000 rpm and 245 lb-ft (332 Nm) of torque at 7,500 rpm. We are excited to see the development of this engine. The high rpm and displacement could be very useful in certain racing.
