Speedhunters has a great article on Monster Tajima’s famous 1995 Pikes Peak twin-engine Escudo. The power-to-weight ratio on this car was sick. The Escudo only weighs 900 kg (1,984 lbs) and has 900 total horsepower thanks to two turbocharged Suzuki G16A motors. Realizing the technical know-how to setup the mechanical linkage to control two engines, two transmissions, two throttles, two clutches and everything else that would normally be setup on a single engine is amazing. You can view a list of his race cars.
