Corey from Fuel Injection Sucks is back with a new project. You might remember their last project, a Winnebago RV with a turbocharged LSx V8. This time around they are installing a 4.2 L LL8 (Vortec 4200) inline-six and TH400 automatic transmission into a 1967 Checker Marathon sedan. In this video the team introduces the project and began cutting in the engine bay.

Can’t figure why they’d want to use a th400. It’s a strong gearbox, but a th700 would gain them an extra gear and be equally cheap.
I’ve always really wanted one of these cars. So much room for modification and for stuff. Best of both worlds!
As a guy who owns a 67 a12 marathon I am eager to see what they do with the car!
