This 1996 Hummer H1 was built for Chas Bruck by Adam Pela and his company X-treme Hummer Performance in Jupiter, Florida. The company started by replacing the 6.5 L Detroit Diesel V8 with a turbocharged 6.6 L LBZ Duramax V8 that makes 525 horsepower and 950 lb-ft of torque. The engine features a Danville Performance 65 mm Stage 2 turbocharger, Exergy Engineering Sportsman injectors, ported fuel rail fittings, Pusher Intakes Super Max intake, and 4-inch diameter high flow exhaust. The 4WD drivetrain features an Allison automatic with a Goerend billet triple disc converter, NP263-XHD transfer case, aluminum AMC 20 housings with Torsen differentials, and 12K CV half shafts. The H1 rides on a set of King remote reservoir shocks and Toyo Open Country Mud-Terrain 37-inch tires.

Can you please verify it’s a 5 speed Allison and not a six because the Lbz Allison runs a six speed stock.
Thanks for pointing that out. They didn’t specify which model it was so I removed it from the article.
