This 2004 Mazda RX-8 is for sale in Minneapolis, Minnesota for $1,400. We’ve featured this car before in 2016 when it was for sale. The RX-8 is powered by a 300 ci (4.9 L) Ford inline-six mated to a Ford M5R2 toploader five-speed transmission and welded differential. The current owner has installed or replaced the relay/fuse panel, fuel return line, high torque mini starter and electric fuel, water, and oil pressure gauges. The owner also states “current things it could use” are tie rod end links, fuel pressure regulator, headlights, and taillights.

I always wanted to play with a 300 i6, but it would have been in a big sedan, like a Crown Vic. This one is a bit surprising. Those motors are torque monsters and weigh a lot.
