Professional drifter Yoichi Imamura competed in past seasons of D1 Grand Prix in a Toyota 86 with a twin-turbo 1GR V6 and before that a Lexus LFA with a Turbo NASCAR V8. For the 2019 season, he’s competing in a special Ferrari 550 Maranello for MMMRacing. The factory 5.5 L Tipo F133A/C V12 is replaced by single turbocharged 4.3 L VR38DETT V6. The engine makes 1,040 horsepower thanks to a Garrett GTX4202 turbocharger from GCG Turbos.
