We found this unique 1980 Corolla for sale in Dallas, Texas. The blue car is no longer powered by an inline-four. Instead it has a 4.0 L 1UZ-FE V8 backed by a five-speed manual transmission. The listing is asking $6,995 for the car. While searching for more info we found a Grassroots Motorsports article from 2006 discussing the car.

This is one of the original 1UZ swaps. It is the one that inspired me to use a 1UZ in my corolla back in ’07.
