Team Metro-Gnome’s Geo Metro is powered by a Honda CBR900RR motorcycle engine. Really not much other details on the build besides it looks like it will be lucky to survive the entire race.
It sure did. I wonder how many more cars might start taking this approach. All it takes is one person with a unique idea that shows promise and then everyone will start doing it.

Saw a Honda car N600 with a motorcycle engine scrapped in Missouri.
They were made until 1972.
