Calibrated Success built this 1997 Mustang Cobra to be a well rounded performance car. The goal was to reduce weight, get 30+ highway MPG and keep the power close to the stock 305 horsepower the factory 4.6 L DOHC V8 made at the flywheel. They accomplished this by using a 2.5 L Duratec inline-four and turbocharging it. Eventually this car will be used for training material to teach students about EFI because Calibrated Success. I can’t think of a better way to learn about a particular subject than on a great engine swap project like this.

Why did you do that to a DOHC Cobra Mustang? Couldn’t you find a base model mustang?
