This 1958 Plymouth Fury “Christine” Tribute was built by Graveyard Carz in Springfield, Oregon. The company replaced the factory 318 ci V8 with a supercharged 426 ci Hellephant Hemi V8 (P5160194AB) producing 1000 horsepower and 950 lb-ft of torque. The motor sends power through a Silver Sport four-speed automatic transmission to a Moser rear end with with an Eaton Truetrac LSD and 3.23 gears. The car rides on the factory chassis, rebuilt front suspension with disc brake conversion, air adjustable rear shocks, and Coker American Classic tires. The body is painted in PPG Concept Acrylic Urethane “Spectra Red” paint with $20K spent in chrome plating, $10K spent in anodizing, and $9K spent in stainless repair.

950 lb-ft of torque with those small rear tires? Well, this car definitely might kill you.
It’s Christine. Of course she might kill the poor guy driving her!
No Chassis reinforcement, crappy tires, no brake upgrades, bench seats, lap only seatbelts…. You literally need to be a moron to drive this thing.
This car was built for SEMA and is a showpiece. Reminds me of Jay Leno’s 56 Buick with a 572 big block but otherwise stock looking exterior. Overkill for sure, but it’s a show car. I’m sure they have a set of performance radials for driving it on the street.
Nice,Nice,Nice! I remember driving my Dad’s 59 Chrysler 300 E with a 413 police intercepter motor with two 4 barrels and type writer drive at 15 years old. I saw the inside of a lot of bars. Thanks for bringing back a lot of memories. Sincerely,The Old Man.
