Why wouldn’t you go with a better performing turbo like precision turbo?
Borg Warner will be a damn sight more reliable and durable, sacrifice little in terms of total power, and only will give way to a likely miniscule bump in transient response with drive pressures from an engine like that with even a decent cam in it. Those turbos are built substantially more robustly, I wouldn’t even consider them competitors in that arena having seen burst tests and failures firsthand.
Do you by chance have any pictures of the suffrage?
Wanting to get ideas, currently have an ’09 hatch with its second blown motor.
Just sold my 09 sedan after blowing its second engine.. wish I had thought of doing this lol.
I need a subframe to do this swap someone help!
Hi Kyle. You could try contacting TSS Fab. They make a LSx V8 subframe for the GD/GC (second gen).
Tssfab makes a tubular front subframe
Can one ask how the ECU/PCM/TCM set up works for the car? It’s a sweet build, gives me ideas. Thanks for the post.
