Rod Emory from Emory Motorsports stopped by Jay Leno’s Garage to show off two amazing Porsche 356 cars he built. Rod explains that although both an Outlaw and Special have parts swapped to increase performance the difference between the two is an Outlaw mostly keep the body factory while the Special has the body customized in some way.
The silver 1959 356 Emory Outlaw features a Fat Performance build 2.6 L pushrod Porsche 914 engine out of a 2.0 L engine. The transmission is a five-speed manual out of a Porsche 901.
The black 1958 Porsche 356 Emory Special features a Dean Polopolus built 2.5 L 911 engine with a 911 S profile cams. The transmission is also a five-speed manual out of a Porsche 901.
