1956 Ford F-100 with a Viper V10

Unfortunately we have very limited knowledge of this vehicle. These pictures could have been taken during the F-100 Super Tour or F-100 Supernationals as I was able to find a few other pictures of this truck during those events. If you have anymore information please contact us or leave a comment.

  1. I love the subtlety of the swap. It looks like a workhorse that’s had a careworn existence, but it conceals a state of the art drivetrain that charges like an elephant on steroids & crystal meth. Like a switchblade, it has an understated menace to it. If it looked like a restored stocker and the engine had the plastic removed, the right paint and polished pieces (like a 1950’s concept car engine), it could be a really stylish highway hauler.

  2. I actually built this truck back in 2005 and drove it on the F100 supertour.I drove it from New York to Califorinia and then onto Knoxville Tn.We finished the tour at the supernationals. It was fun to build and fun to drive.I sold it a couple of years ago.It is a truck i should have kept.

  3. I know the owner, lives down the road. He swapped a car for it a few years back, not sure if he was the owner in ’09 or not, I think so.

Nice truck, a bit rough around the edges but he wanted to be able to actually drive it, the insurance was much cheaper on a 56 Ford truck with a V10 than a Viper.
