Small cars and big motors always make for an interesting combination. Don Foess brought his very powerful 1985 Chevrolet Chevette to Drag Week. The car is powered by a 555 ci big-block Chevy V8 with two BorgWarner 82 mm turbochargers. Don has never had the car on a dyno but estimates it produces around 1,500 horsepower. The best run was 7.89 sec at 177 mph and had several high-7 and low-8 runs.
