This 1981 Camaro Z28 is owned by Scott Brown and was built by Smitty’s Custom Automotive in Tiffin, Ohio. The original 350 ci V8, which only produced 175 horsepower, has been replaced with a Lingenfelter 6.2 L LSA V8 which is putting down 700 horsepower to the rear wheels. The engine is connected to a T-56 six-speed transmission and Moser rear end. The car rides on a RideTech Stage 3 suspension with remote-reservoir coilovers and stops using Wilwood 14″ brakes.

Very nice build. The only way it could have been closer to the way I would have had it done is if it was my check book that is laying there broken and bleeding.
Their FB page is certainly correct when they say this may be the “coolest 81 Camaro ever!”!!
I’m not sure I would be man enough for the Lingenfelter, I may have had to stop at G.M.’s version with a paltry 556HP…
No this is OK. THIS IS
I would like to to know what the color code is I know this is over a year old but I can hope to get an answer
Thanks
Tommy

I recommend contacting Smitty’s Custom Automotive smittyscustomauto.com about the paint color. They probably would be able to help you.
This is my dad’s! I’m his son!
Your Father built a great car. I sure hope you get to drive it occasionally.
Yes, your dad did build a great car. When you get to drive it, be sure and thank him… 🙂
