BYP Racing in Wetherill Park, NSW, Australia specializes in Honda performance. This 2006 Lotus Elise visited them for a powertrain swap. In the back of the car they installed a Honda 2.4 L K24A3 inline-four and six-speed manual transmission using Stark Automotive mounts. The K24 features a K20 oil pump, Type R valvetrain, 50 Degree VTC gear, and Jackson Racing supercharger and water-to-air intercooler. The motor runs on E85 fuel fed by Bosch 1000 cc injectors and controlled by a Hondata KPRO V4 ECU. A Clutchmaster FX400 clutch links the Honda transmission which features aftermarket 1-4 gearset, TSX 6th gear, and limited-slip differential. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a set of Stark Automotive axles. The swapped powertrain made 232 kW (311 hp) and 313 Nm (230 lb-ft) of torque on 8 psi of boost.
