1983 Skyline with a Turbo Honda K20

1983 Skyline with a turbocharged Honda K20 inline-four

This 1983 Nissan Skyline (R30) visited at MA-Motorsports in Glen Arm, Maryland for some simple upgrades. The car arrived with a poorly running turbocharged 2.0 L FJ20ET inline-four. Unfortunately MA-Motorsports discovered a hole in the sleeve. So the FJ20ET was swapped for a turbocharged 2.0 L K20A inline-four on custom mounts. The Honda motor features stock internals, TF Works oil pan, Skunk2 intake manifold, Artech exhaust manifold, and Garrett G30-660 turbocharger. It runs on a Link G4X MonsoonX ECU. A TF Works adapter allows the Honda motor to bolt to a BMW ZF GS6 six-speed manual transmission. Other modifications on the car include Tien Flex coilovers and Z32/R32 front brakes. Listen to Brian Wilkerson owner of MA-Motorsports explain the car in the video below.
