This 1989 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4×4 (YJ) originally came with a 4.2 L inline-six. It is now powered by a 5.2 L Magnum V8 from a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The motor features MSD 6AL ignition control module, carburetor conversion kit, and aftermarket headers and exhaust. Being the V8 is a three-speed automatic transmission and 2-speed transfer case. Power is split between a Dana 44 front axle with Ford F-250 manual locking hubs and a 9-inch rear end both with 4.11 gears. The Wrangler rides on a suspension lift with aftermarket traction bars.
