Brian Wilkerson from MA-Motorsports has a BMW E36 M3 called “MA36RS” he used for rally and drifting. Over the summer Brian decided to swap the BMW motor for a turbocharged 2.3 L Ford EcoBoost inline-four using a JEM Sport swap kit. The EcoBoost motor features JEM Sport mounts, Ford Ranger oil pan, BMW power steering pump with JEM Sport bracket, Radium PCV baffle plate, and custom dual-pass PWR radiator. The motor bolts to a BMW manual transmission thanks to JEM Sport’s flywheel and adapter plate. Watch Brian swap the Ecoboost in the videos below.
