Ken Gushi and his Three’s Racing team built this Toyota GR86 to compete in Formula Drift. The coupe is powered by a 2JZ VVTi inline-six crate motor from GReddy Performance Parts (GPP). It features a prepped block with 86.15 mm bore and 91.0 mm stroke for 3.17 L displacement. It also has a GPP billet crankshaft, GPP billet X-beam rods, GPP HD forged pistons, and Ross Performance dry sump. On top is a ported head with GSC G2 camshafts, GPP conical springs, and larger valves. The engine makes 950 hp (698 kW) to the wheels thanks to a GReddy GP68R turbocharger and nitrous. The motor is paired to a Samsonas five-speed sequential transmission which sends power to a BullDog XR-420i IRS quick-change differential. The suspension features Wisefab control arms, Kazama Auto DG-5 coilovers, and Wilwood six-piston front brakes and dual four-piston rear brakes.
