1968 Mustang with a Coyote V8

1968 Mustang with a 5.0 L Coyote V8

Steel Cavalry built this 1968 Ford Mustang using the Mustang in the The Thomas Crown Affair (1999) movie as inspiration. The convertible is powered by a 5.0 L Coyote V8 from a Roush F-150 truck. Behind that is a Tremec TKO600 five-speed manual transmission and 9-inch rear end featuring a Trac-Lok limited-slip differential, 3.50 ratio, and HSG 31-spline axles. The convertible has a Mustang II front suspension and TCI 4-link rear suspension with subframe connectors. A set of Legendary Wheel LW10 17-inch wheels with Nitto Ridge Grappler 245/65 tires cover disc brakes on each corner. The body features Shelby GT500-style hood, nose panel, trunk lid, and taillight panel alongside Ruffian Cars carbon fiber front lip and side skirts. Everything is covered in Nightmist Blue paint. The interior features TMI leather seats, custom center console, Classic Instruments gauges, and roll cage with KC lights. The Mustang can be found for sale on Bring a Trailer.
