1936 Chevy Truck with a turbo 292 ci inline-six

Craig Staff and Steven Staff at Staff Bros. Garage built this 1936 Chevy truck to drag race. It is powered by a 292 ci (4.7L) inline-six destroked to 285 ci (4.67L) using a 3.9-inch stroke and 3.937-inch bore. The motor features a custom billet steel crankshaft by Marine Crankshaft, GRP forged rods, JE flat-top pistons, custom 6061 girdle, and dry sump. On top sits a Sissell ported head, Bullet custom camshaft, and custom head gasket. Boost is generated by a Garrett 5020 Gen2 88 mm turbocharger. On FuelTech’s hub dyno, the combo made 1320 hp (970 kW) on a FT600 ECU.
