Steve “Stavros” Neophytou from Stav-Tech sent his 2002 Toyota MR2 to Zurawski Motosport for a German powertrain. While there the factory 1ZZ motor was swapped for a 1.8 L Audi 20v inline-four using the Zurawski Motosport swap mount. The Audi motor features H-beam rods, BAM intake manifold, Audi DBW throttle body, custom exhaust manifold, Bosch 610 cc injectors, TD05 20G turbocharger, and custom air-to-water intercooler. It produces 340 hp (250 kW) on 18 psi (1.2 bar) of boost on a Badger 5 mapped ME7.5 ECU. The motor is paired to an Audi 02M six-speed manual transmission with Zurawski Motosport-spec axles, Audi TT inner CVs, and Toyota RAV4 outer CVs.
