Julien Plougastel and his 2005 Lotus Elise visited Sonoma Raceway for some track time. The sports car is powered by a 2.4 L Honda K24 inline-four swapped by a TrackSpec Autosports in California. 4Piston Racing built the motor with 13.5:1 compression pistons, ported TSX head, RR4 camshafts, and upgraded Ferrea valvetrain. The motor’s 250 hp is transmitted to the rear tires through a Quaife six-speed sequential transmission. Watch Julien lap Sonoma Raceway setting a personal best of 1:43.97.

Isn’t 250hp too little for so much money invested on that engine?
