Toyota GR86 with a G16E-GTS Inline-Three

Team NZ is building a Toyota GR86 for 25-hour endurance racing in Thailand. The class it will compete in requires engine displacement over 1.7 liters to be naturally aspirated. This meant the team could use a turbocharged 1.6 L G16E-GTS inline-three built by Lamspeed Racing. The motor features a Lamspeed Racing Response turbo kit with a Garret G25 turbocharger and billet intake manifold. It will run on E20 fuel controlled by a Motec M150 ECU using a custom wiring harness by SP.Wire. Behind the motor is a custom billet bellhousing by DXM Motorsport connected to a Sadev SCL90-20 sequential transmission.
