Fiat 126 with a BMW K75 inline-three

Adam Beard from Twin Engine Corsa interviewed Rennsport126 about his Fiat 126 project. The owner explained the little car came with a 704 cc straight-twin but was swapped to a 740 cc inline-three from a BMW K75 motorcycle. These motors in factory spec produce 75 hp and 50 lb-ft of torque. The owner plans to boost the motor with a small Garrett turbocharger. Power is sent forward through a six-speed sequential transaxle built for Fiat race cars thanks to a custom adapter plate. The car’s suspension features an independent front with GAZ coilovers and small four-piston front brakes. Listen to Adam discuss the unique car with the owner in the video below.
