The Lab SSTX built this Toyota MR-2 to drag race. In the back of the car is a turbocharged 2.4 L K20/K24 inline-four capable of 1,000+ hp (735+ kW). The motor features a shortblock built by Ramey Race Engines with forged internals and sleeved block. On tops sits a 4Piston Kingpin Turbo K-series head and Gato Performance intake manifold. Boost is generated by a Precision 7275 turbocharger. The motor is paired to a PPG dogbox built by TransLab Performance Transmissions with a Drag Cartel billet bellhousing. The body features a carbon fiber hood, fenders, and doors by Toyonda covering BelaK Industries wheels.
