The Golf is powered by a naturally aspirated 2.0 L inline-four featuring a Volkswagen ABF block and Suzuki Hayabusa head. HillClimb Monsters reports Minichberger Motorsport tuned the motor and made 307 hp (228 kW) at 9800 rpm. Beside the motor is a SADEV six-speed sequential transmission. The 790 kg (1741 lb) race car rides on KW V3 adjustable coilovers. Watch Tobias pilot the Golf at the HillClimb Monsters 2025 Bongo hillclimb in Skradin, Croatia.
