Ford Ranger with a Mercedes OM606 turbodiesel inline-six

JTM Autoworks built this 2010 Ford Ranger with a 3.0 L Mercedes OM606 turbodiesel inline-six. The motor features a DieselPumpUK 6.3 mm injection pump, KangrooTeams exhaust manifold, 6262 turbocharger, OM648 rear sump oil pan, and Mishimoto oil cooler. Behind the motor is a DieselPumpUK adapter plate bolted to a Nissan CD009 six-speed manual transmission. A custom one-piece driveshaft with 1350 joints sends torque to a Ford 7.5-inch rear end with an open-differential. JTM Autoworks will upgrade to an 8.8-inch rear end with a limited-slip differential. The truck rides on a DJM Suspension four-inch lowering kit in front and five-inch lowering kit in back. Listen to the full build breakdown in the video below.
