In 2019 we shared a K20-powered Honda Insight built by Tigerroad Performance. The compact car was powered by a 2.0 L K20A3 inline-four and RSX six-speed manual transmission. Eventually the Insight was sold. Now Tigerroad Performance operates their paintless dent removal (PDR) service out of a special 1989 Volvo 740 GLE. The wagon is no longer powered by a Swedish inline-four. Instead there is a 2.4 L Honda K-series inline-four in the engine bay. The motor features a K24A2 shortblock from an Acura TSX, K20A2 head from an Acura RSX Type S, Honda S2000 intake manifold, and 70 mm throttle body. Behind the motor is a PMC Motorsport adapter for a Nissan CD009 six-speed manual transmission and welded factory Volvo rear differential. Tigerroad Performance converted the Volvo steering to electric using a Camaro steering rack with the hydraulics removed and a Saturn VUE electric power steering column.
