Michael Schnick brought his 1984 Mustang Fox Body to Late Model Restoration (LMR) for a dyno session. The Mustang originally came with a 2.3 L Lima inline-four but was swapped to a 5.0 L small-block V8. The motor features a Ford Racing B camshaft, SVE stainless steel shorty exhaust headers, Patriot 185 cc heads with a 60 cc combustion chamber, Comp Cams 1.6 rockers, and Edelbrock Performer EFI intake manifold. The Mustang uses an electric power steering, electric fans, and no AC system. The drivetrain uses a T5 five-speed manual transmission, aluminum driveshaft, and 8.8-inch rear end with a 3.73 ratio. The motor made 276 hp (202 kW) and 328 lb-ft (444 Nm) of torque with 10.0:1 compression and 93 octane fuel.
