In 2013 the dynamic duo of Bad Obsession Motorsport set out to built a 1980 Mini 1000 with the powertrain from a Toyota Celica ST185 GT-Four. This means it would feature a turbocharged 2.0 L 3S-GTE inline-four, five-speed manual transmission, AWD drivetrain, modern suspension, and disc brakes. The project required several years and a number of custom brackets to vast to count. But the hard work paid off and the team recently put the custom Mini on the road for testing.
