Bailey Woods and his BMW E36 M3 attended Global Time Attack’s GridLife Laguna Festival at Laguna Seca Raceway. Bailey set a 1:26.031 lap and took home a TrackMod class record, 1st in Podium Spring, and 2nd fastest overall. Bailey achieved this partly due to the amazing E36 M3 built by built by Riley Stair at RS Motorsports. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L B48 inline-four swapped by Strom Motorsports. The motor produces 550 hp (404 kW) to the wheels thanks to a Garrett G25-700 turbocharger and E70 fuel. Behind it is a GS6-37D manual transmission from an Euro E46 diesel. The last piece of the powertrain is an E36 rear end with a RacingDiffs limited-slip differential and 3.73 ratio. The 2300 lb coupe rides on Motion Control 3-way adjustable coilovers and Apex VS-5RS 18×11-inch wheels with Hoosier Track Attack Pro 315/30 tires.
