Hemmings Garage swapped the 347 ci small-block V8 in this 1965 Mustang for a 7.3 L Godzilla V8. The Godzilla motor features Mast Motorsports hot camshaft and ported heads, Holley low-profile intake manifold and oil pan, US Radiator triple-flow down-flow radiator, and a set of Ultimate exhaust headers. The motor made 579 hp (425 kW) and 563 lb-ft (763 Nm) of torque thanks to a tune by Scott “Scottie Wheels” MacDonald on a Holley Terminator X ECU. To fit the big-block Godzilla in the engine bay, Hemmings Garage team modified the factory shock towers and installed an AJE Suspension tubular K-member with adjustable coilovers. The drivetrain uses a Mcleod twin-disc clutch paired with a Toploader four-speed manual transmission and Currie 9-inc rear end with a 3.50 ratio.
